The CSB Study Bible for Women, Hardcover

This new Christian Standard Study Bible for Women from Holman Bible Publishing is made available through B&H Publishing. The Bible pictured here for this review is in a hardcover, but this Bible also comes in leather binding too.

The pages are beautifully decorated and include various Bible helps for study. The main questions (Who, What, When and Why) are answered on the first page of each book of the Bible. Also included is an outline of the book, and a timeline of biblical and world events.  Along with the chapters are footnotes for study, and the following sections: Doctrines, Word Study, Hard Questions and Character Profiles. At the back of the Bible is a concordance and several maps.

This is such a great Bible. It is visually appealing with all the added color and graphics, and has a great number of resources for women to study their Bibles well. I appreciate all the thought that went into creating such a great product for women. If you are looking for a new study Bible or are looking for a gift for a friend, then make sure to pick up this new product from B&H Publishing to enjoy for years to come.

Falling for You by Becky Wade (Bradford Sisters Romance series, book 2)

I was excited to continue this fun story of the Bradford sisters in this newest book by Becky Wade called Falling for You. This second book in the series is Willow’s story, the oldest of the three siblings.

From the Back Cover:
Famously beautiful model Willow Bradford is reveling in the peace and quiet of her hometown right up until the moment she comes face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend, Corbin Stewart.
Former NFL quarterback Corbin is forceful, charming, and accustomed to getting what he wants... except where Willow is concerned. He’s never been able to forget her, but Willow makes it crystal clear she’s unwilling to risk her heart again.
When a decades-old mystery in Corbin’s family brings them together, will the heartbreak in their past and the complications in their present keep them from falling for one another all over again?

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this second book in the Bradford Sisters Romance series. It was another great book with a fun story line.  Willow has so many regrets with her previous relationship with Corbin that she has sealed herself off from him. Of course, the reader is cheering them on, hoping things will be reconciled. But you'll have to read the book to find out if they can mend their relationship or have to part ways. I liked how Becky Wade included a mystery along with this romance story. I always love solving mysteries, and it adds some fun intrigue to the story.  One thing I will mention is that the book does talk about Willow and Corbin's previous relationship which includes sleeping together outside of marriage. I appreciate that the author does point out that this is against what God has commanded in Scripture, and Willow does express remorse over failing in this area. Just a heads up especially if you have a teen reading these books. Overall, it's such a great story and I look forward to reading about the third sister, Britt and her long time "just a friend," Zander.

Look for a fun collection of novellas coming out in time for Christmas called, The Christmas Heirloom. Becky Wade will have a novella in there that is about Maddie Winslow, Britt's friend, called Because of You.

My Rating: ★★★★
